The Lodge

Welcome to The Lodge at Highland Meadows Resort, a 2,800 sf luxury earth home nestled atop a 12.5-acre mesa in Hot Springs, South Dakota, featuring breathtaking views of the southern Black Hills and Hot Springs VA hospital. 

This is the largest vacation rental at Highland Meadows Resort — peaceful, private, and surrounded by wildlife. The Lodge features floor-to-ceiling south-facing windows where you can view wildlife strolling past during the day and enjoy stunning views of the night sky (without stepping out the front door). 

The Lodge is just a short drive from local attractions like Moccasin Springs Natural Mineral Spa, Wind Cave National Park, Custer State Park, and The Mammoth Site.

East-end master bedroom:

• King-size bed

• Loveseat and ottoman

• White-noise machine, qi chargers, etc.

• Sliding glass doors to outdoor dining space

• Trail leading to a scenic overlook with Adirondack chairs

• High-definition monitor/smart TV

• Desk, office chair, and charging station

The "zen" room (non-conforming bedroom):

*Note: No exterior window in zen room— not legally a bedroom, but fully equipped and private

• Queen-size sofa sleeper

• Attached private bathroom with tub, shower, and toilet w/ bidet

• Massage table for guest use

• Ideal for yoga, remote work, or a private bridal suite

Workstation in zen room with:

• Desk, office chair, and charging station

• Large mirror and lighting (great as a dressing table)
