"The spot was close enough to get a beautiful sunset overlooking the badlands SW area ... we could relax to the view of thousands of stars before bed."
–Candice
"This was by far the best part of our stay. The only negative thing that I have to say is that we only stayed there one night."
–Aubrey
"The tipi is huge and the bed very comfortable. A very unique experience. I highly recommend!"

Tipis have access to a shared bbq grill, gas fire pit, and outdoor dining area, along with other great amenities.
Go swimming at Evans Plunge, right next door; take a walk to Chautauqua Park 1-mile each way); or explore Wind Cave (10-min drive). Play yard games at our horseshoe pit, corn hole, giant Jenga, and other outdoor games. Enjoy the night sky and view — turkeys, deer, and rabbits.

A few tipi FAQs
Is the bathroom in the tipi?
No. There's no great way to put a bathroom in a tipi, nor would it make for a good vacation ... the bathroom is located a short walk away in a white garage. The doors are clearly labeled and yes, each tipi has a private code to their private bathroom. Bathrooms are stocked with towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and toilet paper.
Heaters or AC?
No. This is a tent. Expect to have tent-like conditions in terms of heat and cold. However, we do have a large box fan in each tipi as they can get very hot in daytime hours during the hottest weeks of the year.
Refunds for weather?
No. Our cancellation policy stands regardless of weather. If you book directly through our website, we offer a full refund if a reservation is cancelled at least SIX days prior to check in. If you are within five days, we cannot offer a refund. We have already paid processing fees and scheduled our cleaners.
Tipi or teepee?
People use them interchangeably.
