Highland Meadows Resort features a campground in Hot Springs, SD. The campground is suited for up to 17 tents, has three RV pull-through sites,  and sleeps approximately 50–60 people. It's equipped with flush toilets and running water.​

Scouting activities on the mesa

The Highland Meadows campground has fire pits and picnic tables at each campsite. It also has a common area with a large fire ring and room for yard games.  This makes it the perfect setting to teach:

  • Fire starting

  • Cooking over an open flame

  • Trust and team-building exercises

  • Leadership skills

  • Foraging

  • Wildlife identification
