Terms and conditions
By booking a cabin, tipi, house, or any other accommodation at Highland Meadows Resort, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

SHORT-TERM RENTAL AGREEMENT
Highland Meadows Resort
This Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is made and entered into by and between Highland Meadows Resort ("Host") and the undersigned guest ("Guest"). By booking a stay, the Guest agrees to abide by the terms below.

1. Rental Property
The Host agrees to rent to the Guest the following property:

2. Payment & Security
The Guest agrees to pay all rental charges in advance. A valid credit card will be held on file and may be charged for damages or extra services as described below.
3. Cleaning Services

Standard cleaning after checkout is included in the rental price.

Additional cleaning services and/or additional supplies during the stay are not included.

Additional blankets are not provided.

If excessive cleaning is required due to activities during the Guest’s stay (e.g., spills, stains, excessive trash, unapproved pets or visitors), an additional cleaning charge will apply at a rate of $50 per hour, billed to the card on file.
4. Damage and Liability

The Guest agrees to treat the property with care and respect.

Any damage to the property, furnishings, appliances, linens (outside of regular wear and tear), or amenities caused by the Guest or their invitees will be billed in full to the card on file, including the full cost of replacement and/or repair.

The Guest is responsible for ensuring the property is secured during their stay.
5. Occupancy & Conduct​​

No parties or events allowed with standard nightly stays.

Events are only permitted with an approved event package.

No pets or service animals allowed in any unit due to host allergies. No exceptions.

No unregistered guests are allowed unless an event package has been purchased.

Respect quiet hours from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

If staying in a cabin, turn off the AC when you leave.

If staying in a tipi, turn off the fan when you leave.

Respect check-in (after 3 p.m.) and check-out (by 10 a.m.) times.

Wash your dishes and roasting sticks and return them to where you found them.

Take out all trash before you leave.

No smoking or illegal substances are permitted on the premises.

If using a wood fire pit, fully extinguish the fire after use. There's a water spigot and watering can for your use.

If using a gas fire pit, turn it off after use.

Only use designated fire areas, and never leave any fire unattended (gas or wood).
6. Cancellation & Refunds
You may cancel up to six days prior to your stay. Within five days, you may cancel but will not receive a refund, full or partial. There are no exceptions for weather, your life changes, unexpected interferences, etc.
If we are solely responsible for cancelling your reservation due to an issue and/or natural disaster in our immediate area, we will first attempt to relocate you to another rental unit nearby. If we're unable to provide alternate accommodations, we will provide a full refund.
7. Agreement Acknowledgment
By booking with Highland Meadows Resort, the Guest acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to all the terms and conditions of this Rental Agreement.
