Buffalo Tipi

Enjoy tipi camping in Hot Springs, South Dakota ... or should we say glamping? Buffalo Tipi at Highland Meadows Resort is perched atop a private mesa overlooking town. Located just a short drive from Wind Cave, where you'll likely see bison grazing.

This tipi rental is fully equipped with all linens for the bed and futon, a mini fridge, microwave, Keurig, k-cups, snacks, etc. Tipi or teepee, you ask? They're often used interchangably ... and where did we get our tipis? Nomadics tipi makers. They're the same company that supplied the tipis for Dances with Wolves.

This is a tipi tent. There's no heater or air conditioner. While we do our best to ensure you're not affected by the weather, we can't control the temperatures or elements. There may be moisture, heat,  or cold air that permeates the exterior. It's important that you check the weather at least six days prior to your stay and prepare accordingly. We do not give refunds within five days of check in.
