Eagle Tipi

Experience tipi camping, or glamping, at Highland Meadows Resort. Eagle Tipi is nestled among Ponderosa pines, furthest from all other structures. This makes it more secluded and private, but also a bit longer walk to the restroom (located in the garages as shown on map). Eagle Tipi overlooks Evans Plunge, a popular Hot Springs destination. 

This Black Hills teepee rental is fully equipped with all linens for the bed and futon, a mini fridge, microwave, Keurig, k-cups, snacks, etc. Tipi or teepee, you ask? They're often used interchangably ... and where did we get our tipis? Nomadics tipi makers. They're the same company that supplied the tipis for Dances with Wolves.

This authentic tipi is a short drive from popular Black Hills attractions such as The Mammoth Site, Wind Cave, Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, and Crazy Horse Memorial. It's just five minutes from Moccasin Springs Mineral Spa and Silk Road Experience restaurant (Pakistani food at its finest!).

Relax out back in a private hammock, grill up some burgers on a gas grill, or sit back and enjoy an evening fire while stargazing. This tipi is located at the southern end of the Black Hills.

NOTE: 

This is a tipi tent. There's no heater or air conditioner. While we do our best to ensure you're not affected by the weather, we can't control the temperatures or elements. There may be moisture, heat,  or cold air that permeates the exterior. It's important that you check the weather at least six days prior to your stay and prepare accordingly. We do not give refunds within five days of check in.
